The American Embassy is not involved in making any travel arrangements or hotel reservations. You will need to do this yourself. Please note: you should NOT purchase plane tickets before you have been approved for a visa. Having tickets does NOT make you more qualified for a visa. Wait until you have been approved before you spend the money on a ticket.

If you submit your application, you have to pay the fee, and you will not get it back if you don't get the visa. We know that's frustrating, but it is US law and it is the same for people from every country in the world who apply for visas.
