The U.S. Embassy will be CLOSED on Sunday, May 26, 2013 in observance of Memorial Day. The Embassy will reopen on Monday, May 27, 2013.
The American Citizen Services (ACS) Unit at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul provides assistance to U.S. citizens residing or traveling in Afghanistan.
The ACS Unit is closed on U.S. and Afghan holidays.
Fees can only be paid in U.S. dollars, in cash.

We answer the ACS line from Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00 (excluding U.S. and Afghan holidays).
