PRT Lashkar Gah helps Musa Qala school
As part of the official opening ceremonies for the Musa Qaleh Central School, District Governor Mullah Salam, presents book bags to eager students who attended the event on February 28. The current school enrollment exceeds 500 students and is expected to reach 800. The school is all boys, and there are 26 teachers currently working at the school.
At the event, Mullah Salam said that, "Education is very important to build a strong people and a strong nation,” and he asked students and residents to take care of their new school and protect the teachers.
The reconstruction of the student's school was coordinated from PRT Lashkar Gah and received support from the UK, U.S. and Danish missions.
