The United States Condemns Terrorist Attack in Faryab Province

The United States strongly condemns the cowardly terrorist attack in Faryab province yesterday, which reportedly killed seven, including Provincial Council member Amanullah Shahab, and wounded another eight people.   Our condolences go out to the families and entire communities of the victims, and we wish for a full recovery to the injured.

These reprehensible attacks targeting innocent civilians further demonstrate that the Taliban and other insurgents have no respect for the safety and security of the Afghan people.
