Check the Status of your Immigrant Visa Now

To check the status of your visa, please do the following:

  1. Go to the CEAC homepage: https://ceac.state.gov/CEAC/
  2. Under the heading titled “Immigrant”, click “Check my Visa Application Status”.
  3. Enter your Immigrant Visa Case Number, which can be found on the yellow card you received from the Consular Officer on the day of your interview.

Please check the status of your case periodically. Do not contact the Embassy while your application is under administrative processing, as we will NOT be able to provide you with any further information until the administrative processing is complete.
