Sign up for the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP)
STEP allows you to enter information about your trip to Afghanistan so that the U.S. Embassy can better assist you in an emergency. STEP also allows Americans residing in Afghanistan to get security announcements from the Embassy. We are required by law to keep any information you give us confidential, and will release it only when authorized by you to do so.
