U.S. Embassy Condemns Bombing in Ghor Province

The U.S. Embassy condemns the bombing which reportedly killed six children Tuesday in Ghor province.  We extend our condolences to the victims’ families and communities.

Such reprehensible attacks further demonstrate that the insurgents have no respect for the safety and security of the Afghan people.  We remain undeterred in standing with the Afghan people against proponents of terrorism and violence.
