Afghan children attend Eid luncheon at U.S. Embassy
On October 1st 52 Afghan children attended an Eid luncheon. The children study in U.S. government funded English language programs, and were able to practice their English skills with American staff. They enjoyed a lunch of hamburgers and fries, played horseshoes and tennis, and were given books to take home.
