As his farewell celebration, Deputy Chief of Mission Christopher Dell and his wife Theodora Dell hosted a poetry and music event at their residence on April 17 for local guests. Each poem, whether English, Dari or Pashto, was recited in its original language. Afghan musicians played the tabla, rubab and flute as accompaniment to the seven poems that were beautifully declaimed. Afterwards the 101st ABN DIV Dixieland Band entertained the guests, who danced and mingled and thoroughly enjoyed the evening.
